Specialist clinical negligence solicitor to join John Pickering and Partners LLP

John Pickering and Partners LLP are delighted to announce that a new solicitor, Rachel Donovan, will be joining the firm on the 17th August 2009.

Rachel is an experienced clinical negligence solicitor who has worked on behalf of victims of medical accidents for the last 8 years at a claimant firm of solicitors in Liverpool. She joins to develop the firm’s existing clinical negligence department and to particularly expand operations in their Liverpool office.

Rachel is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel for specialist lawyers, a qualification that requires demonstration of a high standard of competence in handling clinical negligence claims.

Rachel has been involved in a number of high profile clinical negligence cases including the Alder Hey Organ Retention Litigation and claims concerning cerebral palsy and Cauda Equina Syndrome. Rachel has dealt with a varied medical negligence caseload including claims arising out of cardiology, obstetrics, oncology, gynaecology in hospitals and treatment from GP’s.

Rachel is a well known personality in the Liverpool legal community and will continue to contribute to her blog in the Legal Week feature of the Liverpool Daily Post. She grew up in Liverpool and now lives with her family in Crosby.

The firm already has a well established clinical negligence practice based in its Manchester office and Rachel’s arrival will mean that they can offer improved services to victims of medical accidents who live in Merseyside and the surrounding area.
