November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month.  Organised by Macmillan Cancer Support and The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, this is the sixth year of the event.

Lung cancer is responsible for the death of over 33,000 people every year.  This is more than bladder cancer, leukaemia, breast cancer and prostate cancer combined, but it only receives 3% of funding for research.
